We offer a unique and exciting Kindergarten readiness program. This program is designed to teach and reinforce skills in the areas of counting, sorting, patterns,classifying, number concepts, graphing, measurement, comparing, place value, and problem solving. These skills and concepts are introduced through hands-on experiences and exploration with innovative methods and materials. We collect work samples during the year and conduct informal assessments of each child's growth and development.The goal of our literacy program is to teach phonics and reading skills as well as foster an appreciation for books and reading. We incorporate quality children's literature intothe reading program and encourage children to use books in a variety of ways such as using a dictionary to learn what a word means, or a history book to research what how our country got its flag. We instill a love for learning that is dynamic and self-motivated which will remain with them for the rest of their lives!
